PaddyaK for Piedmont Folkways at Statesville's Historic Collection

Get into the Halloween spirit early with a special, spine-chilling evening of music as PaddyaK takes the stage at Piedmont Folkways for a journey into the dark side of traditional storytelling! Perfect for the month of October, "Murder and Mayhem – Tales of Destiny and Demise" features some of PaddyaK's favorite songs to sing—telling horrible stories with a straight face and sometimes even a happy melody. Ranging from tales brought over from the old country and historical accounts of American tragedy to original compositions based on local outlaws and legends, these songs remind us that truth is stranger than fiction.
