Something Forced Me To Leave This Dutch Castle’s Cemetery

Behind Rosendael Castle in the Netherlands, I uncovered a forgotten cemetery hidden in the woods. It quickly became the site of an experience I can’t easily explain. A sudden, seemingly (un)natural event forced me to leave, but a clear warning moments beforehand still makes me question whether something supernatural was involved. Originally created in the early 1800s as a private burial ground for Rosendael Castle’s noble family, the cemetery began with the children of Baroness Louise Torck. After a series of tragic early deaths within the household, additional family members were laid to rest here, and the grounds quietly remained tucked away, largely forgotten over time. Rosendael Castle is associated with long-standing paranormal claims shared locally, most notably a female apparition often referred to as the Lady of the Castle, who, according to an eyewitness, was seen in the cemetery itself.
