Made for kids, by kids! Today, the Elementary Explorers bring you along to meet a very special animal that lives on one specific island in Western Australia off the coast of Perth. The QUOKKA! These cute little marsupials are related to the kangaroo, but are much smaller in size. Here on the island over 10,000 roam free. They are wild animals, so you aren't allowed to pick them up or feed them food. Since they are known as the world's happiest animal there is one thing you have to do... try to get a smiling selfie! :)

Hi, we are the Stranathan Family! In 2018 we hit the road full-time to travel in our RV across the US. Our mission was to visit all 50 states and as many National Parks as possible! Along the way we’ve homeschooled our two kids. Traveling the country has been such a gift to us and we want to share the journey with you! Follow along for family friendly adventures, with a little learning and some laughs mixed in. #elementaryexplorers
