We arrived in Chicago by Amtrak and made the most of our first day! Come explore with my family as we celebrate the weekend of my master’s graduation. Our day begins at Chicago Union Station with a look at its beautiful Great Hall and history. My husband even found a flower vending machine and surprised me with a bouquet in my exact school colors! Then we walk to our hotel, Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago–Downtown on Harrison Street, conveniently near Union Station and the CTA Blue Line.
