Starting Over: Great Lakes Eagle Brings Nesting Material to the Tree | 8-6-26

A massive milestone evening on the Great Lakes Bald Eagle Cam! 🦅 Watch as either Harry or Harriet flies in from the north carrying a branch to the remaining nest structure. They stayed for 5 minutes, resting and arranging the new piece, before departing back north. Later, both eagles were spotted flying out to their favorite roosting area in the woods over M-22. Why is this so special? The original nest tragically collapsed with our sweet eaglet, Snow, on June 2, 2026. Snow is currently healing from her injuries at the Wildside Rehabilitation and Education Center. This moment marks the very first time we have seen Harry or Harriet bring new nesting material back to the tree since that devastating day.
