Electronic Entertainment Expo 98 aka E3 98 | Stargame Multishow

Matéria do programa Stargame (apresentado por Cristiano Gualda) mostrando a E3 1998, realizada no Georgia World Congress Center, em Atlanta, entre 27 e 30 de maio de 1998. No programa, a cobertura da E3 foi exibida entre junho e setembro de 1998. A E3 1998 aconteceu em um dos períodos mais marcantes de transição da indústria. O PlayStation se consolidava como uma das principais plataformas da geração, o Nintendo 64 recebia grandes produções e o PC avançava rapidamente com o crescimento dos gráficos 3D acelerados por hardware. Enquanto isso, a Sega preparava a chegada do Dreamcast, em meio aos últimos lançamentos importantes do Saturn. Entre os destaques estão Metal Gear Solid, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Gran Turismo, Tekken 3, Crash Bandicoot 3, Spyro the Dragon, Banjo-Kazooie, Conker’s Quest, Silent Hill, Resident Evil 2, Half-Life, Grim Fandango, Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Diablo II, Unreal, Duke Nukem Forever, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, F-Zero X e diversos outros títulos.
