Did Final Fantasy Just Ignore Fans AGAIN?

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has sparked debate about Final Fantasy. E33 showed that Turn-Based Combat could have always work in a modern FF, with realistic graphics. Director of FF7 Rebirth, Hamaguchi, commented on Sandfall's success on Twitter X the other day. With all due respect, I think he learned the wrong lesson from this video game. In his own words, because this FRPG add parries to TBC, this proves that people want Action Combat in FF. Not Turn Based Combat. I don't know what else to say. This is the difference between Squaresoft and Square Enix. You couldn't ask for bigger sign from the universe that this JRPG series should go back to its roots, but here we are. Here is my commentary and reaction to the whole situation (while I play Metaphor Refantazio by ATLUS, the Persona guys).
