Cozy Autumn Day with Our Pet Chickens | Wine Crate Nesting Box & Fresh Eggs

Autumn on our little hobby farm. We turn an old wine crate into a nesting box for our hens, fill it with hay, and add lavender and fresh herbs from the garden. Then we watch the girls investigate their new nest, collect fresh eggs, and spend some quiet time with the flock as they scratch, forage, and wander through the garden, past the raised beds, grapevines, and into our little woodland. A slow, peaceful look at everyday life with our chickens. No talking, just chicken sounds, birdsong, and the gentle atmosphere of an autumn day on the farm. In this video: – Turning an old wine crate into a nesting box – Hay, lavender & garden herbs – Collecting fresh eggs – Free-range chickens exploring in autumn – Chicken sounds, birdsong & no talking Our chickens are pets and part of our everyday life here at Vale Mendeles Farm. Some days are peaceful, others are full of little surprises.
