TDK tape went from 4-head Insignia VCR (cheapest and best VCR I've ever owned) onto Sony DVD-R with Sony RDR-GX257 standalone dvd recorder, in HQ (one hour) mode. The dvd-r has chapter marks every ten minutes, and a generic non-menu. The DVD-R was ripped by copying files from the dvdr into a folder (no DVD Decrypter, just a simple highlight and copy). There are no problems, though the date is present throughout the video. It was not shot with a tripod, and is mostly a fairly close shot of Liz. When the show ends, the filmer added in shots of an add or flyer, and his ticket-stub. I cut out the audio during that, as it's just Polyester Bride from the show, and I knew the disc would run out before it was finshed. No part of the show is missing.
