Relaxing Sand Drawing with a Plotter Robot | Ambient Music

Slow video of my plotter drawing patterns in sand, accompanied by ambient music. I originally used this setup as a way to explore different shapes and geometries for my paintings. The sand made it possible to quickly draw, erase and try again, and I realised the process itself was surprisingly satisfying to watch. I used this setup during a small exhibition last year and thought I’d turn some of the footage into a longer video. Hope you enjoy it.
