Demon back story: In the infernal realms where the fires of perdition burn eternal, a dark throne presides over the legions of the damned. Upon this throne, a being of unparalleled malevolence, Sargoth the Supreme, commands his domain with an iron fist cloaked in hellfire. This throne room, known as the Seat of Torment, is where Sargoth orchestrates his insidious plans and metes out his wrath upon both traitors and defiant souls. The Seat of Torment is an unholy sanctum, a place where the air is thick with sulfur and the walls resonate with the screams of the tormented. The throne itself is carved from obsidian and brimstone, adorned with pentagrams and symbols of ancient dark power that glow with an eerie red light. This light pulses like a heartbeat, echoing the cruel, twisted will of Sargoth himself. Sargoth, a demon of towering stature and sinister elegance, is the epitome of infernal power. His skin is a deep crimson, his eyes twin pits of burning coals, and his horns curve menacingly towards the heavens he has vowed to defile. He sits in a meditative pose, his muscular form emanating both physical and magical might. In one hand, he holds a scepter of bone and fire, a symbol of his authority, while the other hand gestures as if weaving the very fabric of despair. Around him, lesser demons and dark priests, their eyes glowing with unholy light, kneel in reverence and fear. These servitors are the twisted remnants of once-mighty beings, now bound to Sargoth's will. They chant incantations and perform rites of darkness, channeling the ambient malevolence to fuel their master's power. At the foot of the throne, the floor is a shifting mass of tortured souls, their forms writhing in agony as they are eternally consumed by flames. These are the souls who dared defy Sargoth, their suffering a constant reminder of his dominance. The very atmosphere of the Seat of Torment is suffused with their anguish, amplifying the dark lord's power. Legends speak of Sargoth's rise to supremacy in the infernal hierarchy. Once a powerful sorcerer who sold his soul for eternal dominion, he clawed his way to the pinnacle of demonkind, defeating rivals and absorbing their essence to become an unstoppable force. His reign is marked by an unrelenting quest for power, his ambitions reaching beyond the infernal realms to the very fabric of the mortal world. From his throne, Sargoth orchestrates invasions of the mortal plane, seeking to corrupt and enslave the living. His minions, bound by oaths of blood and fire, spread his influence, turning mortals into puppets of his dark will. Yet, his ultimate goal remains shrouded in mystery, known only to a few of his closest, most trusted lieutenants. Despite his overwhelming power, whispers of prophecy linger in the darkest corners of the underworld. It is said that a hero, bearing the light of the purest flame, shall one day rise to challenge Sargoth. This champion, armed with the power of the ancient gods, is foretold to break the chains of darkness and bring an end to Sargoth's reign. But until that day, the Seat of Torment remains the heart of his unholy empire, a bastion of despair and suffering where Sargoth the Supreme rules with absolute terror.
