Wildboar Clough from Torside - 11th May 2026

I had a Monday off work to go for a hike on a day when Luca was also at nursery. Unfortunately, I've got a hip strain and still got an issue with my left knee cap, plus I needed to be able to get home quickly in any emergency, so I had limited time and options. I wanted to go somewhere quiet and take my stove and have a warm coffee and a picnic on my own. I know a fantastic small woodland above Torside on the path up to Wildboar Clough. I've been there several times and never seen a soul. As you'll see from the video, it is a magical place. A great place to just sit and listen to the woodland and moorland birds. This one is a bird song video so none of my annoying voice.
