Somewhere in the mountains of Japan, a waterfall has been falling for longer than anyone can remember.
Sit with it for a while. Over the next hour and a half, a full year will pass — cherry blossoms will open and drift onto the water, the greens will deepen into summer, the maples will turn, and snow will settle over everything. You don't have to watch. That's rather the point.
This is music for the end of the day. For the hour before sleep, when the noise finally stops and you need something that asks nothing of you.
【What's inside】
・Koto, shakuhachi and shinobue, woven with the sound of falling water
・A slow visual passage through all four seasons of Japan
・No sudden changes in volume or tone — nothing to pull you back awake
・No vocals, no percussion
・1 hour 31 minutes — long enough to fall asleep to
【Chapters — a year in one sitting】
00:00 Spring — cherry blossoms in full bloom
17:00 Early summer — young green leaves
30:00 Midsummer — deep shade and still air
40:00 Autumn — maples turning red
1:00:00 Winter — snow and silence
1:15:00 Early spring — the buds have not yet opened
1:20:00 Spring — cherry blossoms in full bloom
【About the visuals】
The scenery in this video was created with AI, inspired by Nachi Falls (那智の滝) in Wakayama, Japan — one of the country's three great waterfalls and part of the Kumano UNESCO World Heritage site. The images are artistic interpretations rather than photographs of the actual site.
【About this channel】
This channel is created and supervised by an HSP counselor (HSP = Highly Sensitive Person), who is also the author of a book on living with high sensitivity.
Most music is written to be noticed. Ours is written to be lived in. Every track is designed with sound-sensitive listeners in mind — avoiding abrupt changes, harsh frequencies, and dense layers of sound, so the music can stay quietly beside you rather than compete for your attention.
