2027 Tiffin GH1 SE First Look | 116° Van Tour + Suspension Comparison

Today I’m taking a look at the new 2027 Tiffin GH1 SE 19 SAV ‪@NIRVC‬ — Tiffin’s newest take on the Sprinter-based GH1 adventure van. This one was sitting in the Las Vegas heat, and by the time I stepped inside the van was showing 116°F, so consider this a very warm first look! 🔥 I walk through the 19 SAV floorplan, check out some of the changes Tiffin has made with the new GH1 SE, and spend a little time underneath comparing its suspension setup with the suspension on my own GH1. The 19 SAV is built on the Mercedes-Benz 2500 AWD Sprinter chassis with the 2.0L four-cylinder turbo diesel producing 208 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. The van measures approximately 19’6” long, has a 9,050-lb GVWR, and retains the familiar GH1 adventure-van layout with a power lift bed and 49” x 79” gear garage, wet bath, pantry, kitchen and forward jump-seat configuration. Some highlights include: • Mercedes-Benz 2500 AWD Sprinter chassis • 208-hp / 332 lb-ft 2.0L turbo-diesel • 9-speed automatic transmission • 49” x 79” gear garage below the power lift bed • Wet bath • Jump-seat floorplan • 26-gallon fresh-water capacity • 22-gallon gray-water capacity • 3,000-watt Victron inverter/charger • 220 watts of solar • 15,000-BTU Gree heat-pump A/C • Available/adventure-focused suspension upgrades As a current GH1 owner, I’m especially interested in seeing how Tiffin continues to evolve this platform, so throughout the video I’ll point out some of the similarities and differences I notice compared with my van. And yes — when I mention “19 SAV” in the video, I admit I wasn’t sure what the acronym itself stood for. Rather than guess, I left it at that. It is Tiffin’s official floorplan designation for this version of the GH1 SE.
