The build centers around an OCuLink adapter that connects the mini PC to an external graphics card, neatly housed with a Pico PSU inside a specially designed 3D-printed case. We cover every step of the DIY process, from installing the M.2 NVMe adapter to the final assembly, showcasing how a low-cost, compact computer can be upgraded for high-fidelity gaming. To demonstrate the potential of this setup, we test a variety of GPUs, including the powerful RTX 4060 Ti as well as more modest low-profile options like the RTX 3050 and RX 6400. The video not only provides 1440p gameplay footage from titles like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and God of War: Ragnarok but also delves into crucial technical details such as CPU bottlenecks and the power requirements of the GPUs to help you understand what to expect from a similar build. The final result is a clean, compact, and surprisingly powerful gaming rig that completely changes the performance capabilities of the Dell mini PC.
