In my opinion this pie is better than derby pie, a favorite around here at Derby time for Derby parties . I hope you enjoy this delicious, rich pie. Ingredients 1 unbaked deep dish pie crust 1 8 oz package of cream cheese 4 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup corn syrup 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 tsp salt Beat together cream cheese, sugar 1 egg, vanilla and salt Spread in the bottom of pie shell Spread the nuts over the cream cheese mixture Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the nuts and cheese mixture Bake 425 for 10 minutes reduce to 375 for 25-30 minutes..
