Mickey & Friends Bring Halloween Magic to Disneyland! + 🍂 Pumpkins, Characters & Full Walkthrough

🍂 We’re starting our day on Main Street and boy, oh boy, were we excited! Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Mickey were all there to greet us. We got lots of waves and love from all of them. What a wonderful way to start our day at Disneyland! Following a horse-drawn trolley down Main Street, we take in all the beautiful fall and Halloween decorations. The orange and autumn colors, festive displays, and hand-carved pumpkins make everything feel extra special. And, of course, we can’t miss that giant Mickey pumpkin! Halloween Time is one of my favorite times to visit Disneyland. 🎃 As we make our way down Main Street, we pass the Partners statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse, along with the amazing character-carved pumpkins. There are so many little details to stop and enjoy! Next, we head toward Sleeping Beauty Castle and Fantasyland. The castle looks beautiful as it welcomes us into a world of fairy tales and imagination. Fantasyland is filled with classic Disney attractions, storybook settings, and beloved characters. Whether you’re flying with Dumbo or stepping into one of the classic Disney stories, this land always brings a little magic to the day. And here comes the Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade! We stop to enjoy the characters and their festive costumes before continuing past it's a small world. That colorful facade and those familiar musical notes always make me smile! Next, we visit Mickey’s Toontown, with its colorful buildings, playful details, and fun little surprises everywhere you look. It feels like stepping right into Mickey and his friends’ neighborhood! From there, we head into Tomorrowland, where the adventures take us into the future. With its space-age atmosphere and attractions inspired by space travel, technology, and exploration, there’s always something exciting to see. Then we make our way through Frontierland, where the Old West comes to life. The rustic buildings, western scenery, and adventurous atmosphere take us back to the days of frontier exploration. It’s a wonderful place to slow down, look around, and enjoy another side of Disneyland. Next up is Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! We enter Black Spire Outpost, where the rocky landscape, unusual buildings, and spacecraft make you feel as though you’ve landed on another planet. And guess who we find? Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers are out looking for the Rebellion! I wouldn’t want to be the one they’re looking for. 😂 Leaving a galaxy far, far away, we head toward Bayou Country. This peaceful, nature-inspired land has a charming, woodsy atmosphere that feels worlds away from the busy streets of the park. We pass Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, where guests can join Tiana and her friends on a musical adventure through the bayou. There’s so much to enjoy along the way! Next, we’re off to New Orleans Square, one of Disneyland’s most charming areas. With its French Quarter-inspired architecture, wrought-iron balconies, gas lamps, and lively atmosphere, it feels like a little piece of New Orleans right here in Disneyland. There are also some wonderful places to eat, including Café Orleans, the Blue Bayou Restaurant, and Tiana’s Palace. It’s a great place to take in the scenery and enjoy a little Southern charm! Now we’re heading into Adventureland, where the spirit of exploration is everywhere. With lush tropical plants, winding pathways, and mysterious corners, this land is full of adventure. From the Jungle Cruise to Indiana Jones Adventure, you never know what you might discover around the next corner! And now we’re back on Main Street, where we get one more look at that giant Mickey pumpkin. It’s such a fun Halloween centerpiece and the perfect way to wrap up our walk through the park. As we make our way toward the exit, we’re already thinking about all the wonderful things we saw today. From Mickey and friends to Halloween decorations and the unique atmosphere of each land, Disneyland always gives us something to smile about. Another great day at the park!
