Episode 127 Namaste, We are Shirish and Pooja and Welcome to a Chicken Xacuti & Poi ( Chicken Curry ) Special Episode of ‪@RedSoilStories‬ Earlier in summer I had gone to collect some cherries, I gave them to Pooja and she prepared Jam from it. We had put the jam in the refrigerator to eat later. Later in the beginning of monsoon season Pooja wanted to prepare Poi/Kundyache Pav, a famous delicacy of Goa which can be eaten with any curry or sabji. She prepared the Poi and we had those for the breakfast along with Cherry Jam and butter. It tasted wonderful. Later in the afternoon Pooja wanted to prepare chicken curry in Goan style. It is called Chicken Xacuti which is similar to Malvani Chicken Curry which is called Chicken Sagoti. I had gone to the market and had asked Pooja not to wait for me for the lunch. She prepared the chicken xacuti ( Goan Chicken Curry ) and had it with the poi / kundyache pav for the lunch. She later told me later that it tasted delicious with the bread.
