Sierra national forrest Backpacking trip | Dinky Lakes

Went backpacking with friends to purify myself in the waters of lake minnetonka Dinky lakes in the Sierra national forrest we hiked up to 9000 ft elevation where we are able to make campfires with permits and used the pacific crest trail PCT bear bag hang method it might not seem like a lot but it was very difficult. u can tell by my heavy breathing. It was nice though because we were covered mostly by the trees. we tracked 20+ miles of hiking, exploring other surrounding lakes and spending a whole day fishing. ended up catching about 10 total brook trouts! they are hard to catch because their bites are so subtle you have to hook them right when they attack or else you wont hook them. We skewered some on sticks, seasoned them and grilled them over the fire. I put some aside and made a sinigang filipino fish head soup.
