Japan is known as a wealthy and developed country. But what does everyday life really look like for ordinary people in Japan? In this video, I share my weekend in Japan, visiting my parents, experiencing rising prices, saving money, and finding happiness in simple moments with my family. 🍖 Spare Rib Soup Recipe Ingredients 400–500g spare ribs 1/3 daikon radish 1 carrot 1/2 onion 800ml water 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp sake 1 tbsp mirin A little ginger A little salt How to make 1. Lightly brown the spare ribs in a pot. 2. Add water, ribs, and ginger. Bring to a boil and remove any foam. 3. Add the daikon, carrot, and onion. 4. Simmer on low heat for about 30–40 minutes. 5. Add soy sauce, sake, mirin, and salt to taste. If using a pressure cooker, cook under pressure for about 15 minutes, then let the pressure release naturally.
