Driving Into Spring | Rapeseed Fields of Brandenburg

Yellow rapeseed flowers have begun to bloom all across Brandenburg. After the long winter, spring has finally arrived. And somehow, it felt as though spring had also arrived in our lives. As our plans for immigration slowly become clearer, we have started to feel hope again for the unknown future ahead of us. Day by day, we are trying to live gently and healthily, to love the people around us a little more sincerely, and to move forward together. Under the warm May sunlight of Germany, we opened the roof of our convertible and drove through endless beautiful fields, feeling deeply happy in a way we had almost forgotten. Maybe this is one of the truths of life: Everything changes. Just a few months ago, we were wandering through a darkness so deep that we felt anxious about almost everything in life. But winter quietly passed. And now, beneath this warm sunlight, with green trees dancing in the wind and fields glowing yellow around us, we found ourselves smiling again. Of course, we already know. One day, the cold winter will return again. But perhaps we are learning something new now: That the beauty of spring can only truly be felt because winter exists. Happiness and sadness always come together, like two inseparable companions. And this time, we do not want to forget that both are gifts. We wanted to share this moment, this light, and this feeling with everyone watching. May happiness walk beside you today.
