1985 Iron Bowl - Alabama vs. #7 Auburn Highlights

In what is arguably the greatest game in the history of the long-standing rivalry, the 50th annual playing of the Iron Bowl pitted the Alabama Crimson Tide (7-2-1) against the Auburn Tigers (8-2) at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. A 16-10 defensive struggle finally broke open in the 4th quarter. With the Auburn Tigers up 23-22 with under a minute to play in the ball game, Tide quarterback Mike Shula led the Alabama offense down the field and put placekicker Van Tiffin into position to produce one of the greatest moments in Alabama football history.
