Lost in Long Pond: From Old Treasures to Modern Finds!

You never know what you're going to find beneath the surface! In this adventure, we're back in the beautiful Belgrade Lakes region of Maine, exploring the bottom of Long Pond near the historic Day's Store. This dive turned into a little bit of everything! From an old glass inkwell that may have been sitting on the lake bottom for more than a century to a modern Apple AirPod, sunglasses, and other unexpected discoveries, every few feet seemed to reveal something different. That's one of my favorite things about scuba diving in Maine's lakes. Every object has a story, whether it was lost last summer or more than 100 years ago. Sometimes the most interesting discoveries are hiding right beneath our feet. Join me as we explore another piece of Maine's underwater world and see what treasures Long Pond has been holding onto.
