Leak Monitoring (5 of 12)

This presentation is the fifth of 12 training modules required in the New Hampshire underground storage tank (UST) Operator Training Program, hosted by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES). It provides an overview of the equipment at regulated UST facilities in New Hampshire as well as testing requirements related to leak prevention and release detection measures, such as sensors located within the secondary containment spaces and double-walled areas of both tanks and piping systems which alert an owner or operator of the presence of liquid. This containment allows a problem to be properly managed, cleaned-up and investigated without a release to the environment.
