This is a story about the apocalypse—and about choice. A sorrowful deity seeks to “liberate” all beings from suffering with a numbing virus, but the path of life must never be rewritten at a god’s whim... This release is an early preview, showcasing a brand-new ecosystem and mechanics: new creatures, adjusted infected-AI behavior, a biological mutation skill tree, a world reshaped by infection, and levels that evolve dynamically with the environment and weather. There’s also a brand-new map with 130+ rooms, waiting for you to carve out a path through the wasteland. Two brand-new Slugcats bring their own unique storylines: StupidMouse — Accepts a certain Iterator’s mission, shoulders a wish, and spreads the infection across the world.
