Greek Islands & Turkey cruise on Celebrity Infinity May 2026 part 1

May 2026 …..and we are off to Greece and Turkey. We saw a very reasonably priced holiday on Celebrity Infinity. We were a little nervous about it as Inifinity is one of the older ships in the fleet. We needn’t have worried! What Infinity lost in its slightly older decor and cabins, it more than made up for in the enthusiasm of its crew. They were just the best. Additionally, it was one of those cruises where we made so many friends with the lovely passengers. Admittedly we did spend a fair bit of it propping up the Martini Bar! So, the itinerary took in Thessaloniki, Istanbul, Ephesus, Rhodes, Santorini and Mykonos. Additionally we had a night in Athens on the way out and a couple on the other end. One great tip is that we used Welcome Pickups for all transfers in Athens. They were faultless. The ports were a wonderful mix of lovely harbours, fabulous scenery and historic interest.
