Arsenal U21 2-2 Sunderland U21 | Andre Harriman-Annous Late Equaliser | PL2 Highlights (10/10/26)

Arsenal U21s were held to a 2-2 draw by Sunderland in Premier League 2 which extended a disappointing start to the season. Despite dominating possession Arsenal went behind early when Trey Ogunsuyi nodded in Tom Proctor’s corner delivery. James Scanlon levelled before the interval with a close range finish after Evan Mooney won the ball high up the pitch and played him in. Ogunsuyi restored Sunderland’s lead soon after the restart by diverting Ranson’s attempted clearance into the net. Ranson then made a superb double stop to keep Arsenal in the contest and the hosts got their numerical advantage when Aji Alese was sent off for a second booking. Maalik Hashi and Teshaun Murisa both tested the Sunderland keeper who kept out their efforts but the breakthrough finally arrived in stoppage time. Murisa set up Andre Harriman-Annous on the right and he finished to earn a late point. 🔔 Subscribe for more Arsenal content!
