I explore Uniacke Estate Museum Park by snowshoe in Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia. The Estate was built by Richard Uniacke as a summer home in 1813-1815. Today it is a museum. There is a small admission fee to enter the buildings when they are open in the summer, but the grounds and 8 walking & hiking trails are free to the public to explore year round. In this video I show you the "haha wall", Lake Martha, one of the oldest roads in Nova Scotia, a significant watershed divide, and one of only a handful of living American chestnut trees left in the world.
