The guitar player is none other than the fabulous Dave Meniketti who is also the bands lead vocalist. The solo starts out slow and moody with cool phrasing over a clean chord progression of D minor 7 to C/D. Meniketti builds tension quickly with his aggressive vibrato. There's a super cool tapping idea that is worth learning even if you learn nothing else. The fast licks at the end wrap things up nicely with a bang.
