Comfortably Numb. The second solo. I've known every note of the studio version for years - it's in my top three solos of all time. But the Pulse live version from 1994? Somehow I've never actually watched it. Today I'm fixing that. Full reaction, running it through without pauses so we can get the complete musical experience, then breaking down the differences and the gear afterward. David Gilmour's tone on this performance is its own thing. Boss Compressor, Big Muff into a Chandler Tube Driver. All of it running into Hiwatt DR103s: clean, loud, and completely transparent. If you're here for the reaction and the gear geek-out, hit subscribe. 🔥 Watch more Solos That Rule:    • Solos That Rule   🎸 Quick guitar lessons:    • Quick Guitar Lessons   👍 Hair Metal Reacts...:    • Hair Metal Guitarist Reacts   ☕ Support the channel (totally optional!): Buy me a coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/owenvickersg... 🤘 Subscribe for more quick guitar lessons, reactions and solo breakdowns    / @owenvickersguitar   My Gear: Guitar: Fender American Professional Shawbucker Stratocaster Amp/Plugin: Amplitube 5 (Comfortably Gilmour Solo preset) Chapters 00:00 Intro 00:38 Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb (Pulse) 09:47 My reaction 11:22 Guy Pratt 11:45 The Second Solo 12:48 The Black Strat vs The Red Strat 13:26 David Gilmour Pulse Gear 14:52 Which solo next?
