From the west pylon of the Öresund Bridge, facing Denmark, this timelapse follows the hours between just after 03:00 and 07:00. The sky starts overcast, eases to partly cloudy, and breaks into clear by the first light of morning, while the strait runs calm beneath a Last Quarter Moon. Kastrup (Copenhagen Airport) is busy on the far shore, and with the video's timestamp overlay you can hunt for real movements: the Delta flight in from New York/JFK landed around 05:43, the Scandinavian Airlines arrival from Newark touched down around 05:56, and Qatar Airways' arrival from Doha came in around 06:30. Several departures rolled out early as well, including a Lufthansa flight to Munich around 06:10 and a Turkish Airlines departure for Istanbul around 06:15, and a good number of that night's arrivals were running late. Bridge traffic carries a restriction worth knowing: road works on the High Bridge closed a lane in both directions with reduced speed through the zone, wide and heavy vehicles barred while the rail runs as normal, expected to clear around 19 October. Cargo, passenger, and tanker traffic kept moving through the strait in the background. Four hours of footage, ten minutes of film.
