🚵‍♂️ Adventure cycling to Mount Augustus in Outback Western Australia. Join me on a Outback solo cycling journey across the rugged and beautiful landscapes of Western Australia. From Mount Magnet up to Meekatharra on the Great Northern Highway, home to 60 metre roadtrains, then onto remote gravel roads passing through cattle stations and bush until finally reaching the iconic Mount Augustus. Often referred to as the world's largest rock, Mount Augustus at twice the size of Uluru, is the worlds largest monocline. This bikepacking adventure covers hundreds of kilometers of riding over paved and gravel roads. It features bush camping, and self-supported travel through some of the most isolated parts of the Australian outback. Along the way I document the challenges, the solitude, and the raw beauty of riding through this vast country. As well as the kind people I met along the way. If you're into adventure cycling, bikepacking Australia, or dreaming of your own outback bike tour , this video is for you. 👍Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoy this type of content... it helps a lot 👇Let me know in the comments: Would you take on a solo ride like this? 0:00 Intro 4:40 Route details 5:51 Great Northern Highway 18:41 Meekatharra 29:15 Mt Gould 48:47 Burringurrah Community 55:16 Mt Augustus 1:07:13 Bilung Pool 1:13:40 Murchison Settlement 1:16:44 Ballinyoo Bridge 1:23:07 Ride Stats
