An electrifying version of the hymn Pass Me Not, Oh Gentle Saviour. I think that it was recorded about 1960. The lead singer, West Virginia's Claude Jeter, was surely an influence on Al Green. This record featured on the movie The Big Easy, which was strange because the rest of the soundtrack was by Louisiana artists. Good choice all the same.
