Moderato Kateřina Veronika Anna Dusíková (1769- 1833) - was a Czech composer. She was the daughter of Jan Josef Dusík and brother of Czech composer Jan Ladislav Dusík (Dussek). In 1793, at the invitation of her brother, she traveled to London, where she married Francesco Cianchettini, a music publisher of Italian descent, with whom she had a son, Pio, who also became a pianist and composer. In London, she established herself as a versatile musician—a pianist, harpist, and singer—as well as a composer and teacher. Her brother initially introduced her to his own teaching methods and subsequently enabled her to strike out on her own. Shortly after arriving in England, Kateřina began giving lessons to children in London, and within two years she had become a well-known music teacher in London.
