Walking Wales’ Most Dramatic Glacial Valley | Nature ASMR 🌿

This was a wild and exhilarating walk through Cwm Idwal in North Wales, with sunny skies to begin and heavy grey clouds by the end. The walk starts with a beautiful waterfall cascade before heading up around Llyn Idwal towards the Idwal Slabs. It was pretty windy as I climbed higher, but the views were amazing, especially with the weather changing as the day went on. I didn't make it as far as The Devil's Kitchen on this visit — maybe next time! There were also a few unexpected moments along the way, including RAF jets from Valley making an appearance. They were absolutely deafening, but very cool to see! Cwm Idwal has a fascinating geological history and was also visited by Charles Darwin, who came here to study the landscape and its geology. He later recognised the evidence of the glaciers that had shaped the valley.
