#10 Monroeville (5-4) @ #7 Dalton (4-6) - D7 Football Region 25 First Round

First round of playoffs action in D7 goes down at McFarren Field in Dalton, where #7 Dalton (4-6) hosts #10 Monroeville (5-4). The Eagles bring a offense averaging 31.4 points per game and are making their 4th playoff appearance as many seasons, while Reid Geibel's Bulldogs come in off a massive 28-21 win over their rival Smithville after playing the fifth toughest schedule in all of D7. Join Caden Schmid on the call. For Monroeville, keep an eye on senior RB/LB Cooper Cleary (1,288 rush yards), a strong, physical runner who leads the Firelands Conference in touchdowns. Dalton counters with junior QB Brady McFarren (291 pass yards last week), who can stretch the field through the air against an Eagles defense coached by Tylor Nester.
