Car Allegedly Rams Woman Biker in Gurugram: A Shocking Case of Road Rage Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary: A shocking hit-and-run incident has been reported from Gurugram’s Golf Course Road, where a car allegedly rammed into a woman biker’s sports bike, dragging it several metres along the road. The woman biker, Sia, alleges that the driver first followed her, behaved aggressively and asked her to stop, before hitting her bike when she refused to stop. She has also alleged that the driver was intoxicated and fled the spot after the incident. The entire incident was captured on a camera mounted on her bike, and she later shared the videos on Instagram. Gurugram Police has taken suo motu cognisance of the incident, registered a case and formed three teams to trace the accused. The incident raises serious questions about road rage, the use of vehicles as weapons and the male ego and power mentality faced by women on Indian roads.
