RB-Special 2025 - Interview with Messa (Metal Blade Records)

This is already the second installment in our (let's admit it now) weekly series of RB-related interviews - last week we gave you our interview with Choke Chain and just like the wonderful people at Roadburn do it, we are now giving you something very different - we talked with Sara and Rocco from Messa! Their new record "The Spin" will be played in full in Tilburg on the Friday and it is a more than cohesive concoction of two very "80s sounding" genres - Goth and Synthwave. However, Messa would not be Messa if they simply emulated those soundscapes, no, they took those and turned into elements of the Messa-sound. This gave us a lot of reason to talk about nostalgia, hunger for new adventures, the road and movements as symbols of their work and of course much more!
