Reception of SAQ on UN Day 2026 from the historical station in Grimeton, (Sweden)

La transmissió es va fer utilitzant el llegendari alternador d'Alexanderson, una peça única de patrimoni radiofònic. Per a la recepció, vaig utilitzar una antena Rohde & Schwarz HFH-2Z2 combinada amb un receptor força històric també (tot i que una mica més jove, je, je)—un magnífic Drake R7. Em va sorprendre de veritat veure com de bé i excepcionalment funciona aquest meravellós receptor en una banda de freqüència tan extremadament baixa (17,2 kHz)! The transmission was sent using the legendary Alexanderson alternator, a unique piece of radio heritage. For the reception, I used a Rohde & Schwarz HFH-2Z2 antenna paired with a rather historic receiver itself (though slightly younger, haha)—a magnificent Drake R7. I was genuinely surprised by how exceptionally well this wonderful receiver performs down in such an extremely low-frequency band (17.2 kHz)!
