Heritage Runners vs Modern Trainers (ft. Nike Air Max 90 and adidas EVO SL)

I’m a sneakerhead, and most of the shoes in my closet started life as performance sneakers before they turned into fashion icons. In this video I pull out a few pairs out, like the Nike Air Max 1, ASICS Gel‑Kayano 14, New Balance 990v3. They started as technical running shoes and ended up as heritage lifestyle staples. I also take a classic Air Max 90 out for a run and compare it to my everyday trainer, the adidas Evo SL, to see how a retro runner actually stacks up against a modern performance shoe.
