We stayed at Kalima Resort & Villas in Khao Lak, and found a peaceful beach just a short walk from the resort — great for morning walks and sunsets. Here’s what we got up to: A visit to Khao Lak Village, a relaxed local area with beachside restaurants Exploring temples in Phuket, as well as Old Town with its coluorful streets and old architecture A walk through Patong Beach and Bangla Road, which was lively and crowded A visit to an elephant sanctuary in Phang Nga A slow raft ride through the forest in Tampon Lan Kaen A boat trip to the Phi Phi Islands, with lunch on a quiet island Overall, it was a nice mix of nature, local culture, and some downtime.
