Kuta, Bali. Thursday, 20 August 2026. This afternoon, we’re back in Kuta, Bali, to capture the latest atmosphere in one of the island’s most legendary tourist destinations. We start today's walking tour at Kuta Beach, near The Kuta Beach Heritage Hotel, and follow the beachfront path south towards the main entrance near Pantai Kuta Street. Kuta Beach is looking lively this afternoon, with plenty of tourists enjoying the beach. We also spot quite a few people practising their surfing in the waves — one of the activities Kuta has been famous for for decades. 🏄‍♂️🌊 We then leave the beach and head east along Pantai Kuta Street. Traffic is busy but moving smoothly as we make our way towards Bakungsari Street, also known as Kuta Square. Kuta Square is lined with shops that are popular with tourists looking for clothing, souvenirs and other holiday essentials. We continue south before entering Kartika Street, where we take a short detour around the area before heading towards Kuta Art Market. After passing through the art market, we arrive back at Kuta Beach, near the Baruna disaster shelter. This part of Kuta Beach, particularly around the Truntum Hotel beachfront, is looking quite busy this afternoon. It's a popular spot for tourists to sit together, relax, have a chat and enjoy the afternoon by the sea. We continue north along Kuta Beach, taking in the atmosphere and recording the latest scenes from the beachfront before eventually returning to Pantai Kuta Street, where we finish today's walking tour.
