ASHLEY BUNGALOW - The Heritage Bungalow of British Period still remain in Kerala

135 years old Colonial bungalow 2 kms from Kuttikanam near the western ghats, Kerala. As you enter from the east through the winding rubble and mud paved road, up on the hill is situated the Ashley Bungalow. Ashley Bungalow built in 1868 by the Baker family is the oldest surviving planters bungalow in Peermedu. It exemplifies the exquisite carpentry of the British Raj.
