Pastor Matt uses the imagery of Death Valley and the Dead Sea to warn against allowing sin to leave our hearts dry and hardened. Drawing from Proverbs and Hebrews, he challenges us to guard our hearts by trusting God, surrounding ourselves with encouraging community, and drinking deeply from the living water found in Jesus. Just as Death Valley can burst into life after unexpected rain, God can bring new life to even the driest places in our hearts.
