Eisenhower once remarked that every gun made, every warship launched, and every missile fired represents a theft from those who are hungry and lack food. The Middle East war zone has transformed into a massive powder keg spanning 4.5 million square kilometers; it is a region where not only are missiles, drones, and bombs raining down, but the global economy and vital oil lifelines are also at stake.
