Welcome to this relaxing stroll along a refreshing gentle river, through hemlock forests and sandstone ledges. Hi! I’m Charmaine, a hiker & artist making cozy ambiance videos. This is one of my favorite places to visit, it has a magical fairytale feeling with the mossy ancient shale and sandstone, sprouting ferns and wildflowers between the cracks. The cliffside valley elevation, and proximity to the river, keeps the shade nice and cool even in the heat of summer. Keep following this river north, and you’ll meet the beautiful Lake Erie! Back then, the sun had set behind the valley trees earlier than I expected, and the light was too low for my old camera. Each time I film, I learn something new! This time I learned that I accidentally bump into my microphone when climbing over rocks (who knew!) and that the exposure stepping on my lovely Fuji camera can be a bit too much in such dynamic lighting situations. I can’t wait to revisit filming this beautiful trail when my skills and gear have leveled up again. I’m learning so much from filming in a diverse range of situations & elements, and it’s been so fun to see my progress recorded on this channel.
