Even a Monday turns up better with a new Finale record. After an endless five-year stretch, this "Inglourious Basterds" of punk returns with a new EP — barely 9 minutes of deranged, unrepeatable freaky-crazy-loco punk. It doesn’t look like much, but it’s not “just another band” either. Only Finale can mess with your head at this level, and for all their madness and sheer bizarreness, they are one of the better punk bands this millennium has managed so far. I once read somewhere that a single good night of sleep and a decent session of sex can make up for long stretches of insomnia and abstinence. Finale work on a similar principle.
