#shiva #medtationmusic #calmyourmind #meditation #calmyourmind #innerpeace #relaxingmusic #mahadev Composed over a thousand years ago by Adi Shankaracharya, Nirvana Shatakam is one of the world’s greatest spiritual inquiries into the question, “Who am I?” Rather than telling us what we are, each verse gently reveals what we are not—until only our true nature remains: pure consciousness, bliss, and Shiva. Unlike most spiritual hymns that ask for blessings or protection, Nirvana Shatakam is a direct journey into Self-realization. Through six timeless verses, Adi Shankaracharya removes every false identity—the mind, body, senses, emotions, ego, relationships, even the fear of death—revealing the unchanging awareness that exists beyond them all. The Journey Through the Six Verses 🧠 Verse 1 — We are not the mind or the body. The hymn begins by dissolving our identification with the mind, intellect, ego, senses, and the physical elements. 🌬️ Verse 2 — We are beyond the body and its functions. Breath, energy, speech, action, and even the subtle layers of our being are not our true Self. ❤️ Verse 3 — We are not our emotions or desires. Attachment, greed, pride, jealousy, ambition, and even the pursuit of liberation cannot define who we truly are. ⚖️ Verse 4 — We are beyond virtue and sin. Beyond rituals, scriptures, worship, pleasure, pain, and every experience lies the silent witness. 🌍 Verse 5 — We are beyond birth and death. Beyond family, relationships, identity, and the fear of mortality shines the eternal Self. ✨ Verse 6 — We are infinite consciousness itself. Formless. Limitless. Present everywhere. Beyond attachment. Beyond every definition. Every verse ends with the same realization: Chidānanda rūpaḥ śivo’ham śivo’ham. Our true nature is pure consciousness and bliss. We are Shiva. May these sacred verses gently dissolve fear, quiet the restless mind, and remind you of the peace that has always been within. ⸻ 🧘 Perfect for: Meditation & mindfulness Emotional healing Stress and anxiety relief Yoga & breathwork Sleep & deep relaxation Self-inquiry & Advaita Vedanta Daily spiritual practice Inner peace and stillness ⸻ ✨ This video includes: Original Sanskrit (Romanized) English meaning for every verse Meditative Shiva visuals Slow, contemplative chanting for deep immersion ⸻ Creation Method Based on my original vocal recording with original melody and Sanskrit pronunciation, developed using AI to create the final musical arrangement and vocals.
