My Teenage Life Being Black In Canada

My story on what it's like to be a black youth in Canada today. I wrote this speech and shared it at the BLM protest in Markham. It speaks to the importance of diversity, and fears that I've had growing up. Use this video as a method to hear a black voice. BLM. Black Lives Matter. Swart lewens maak saak. Les vies noires comptent. Mahalaga ang itim. Zwarte levens zijn belangrijk. Η μαύρη ζωή έχει σημασία. Las vidas negras importan. Svarta liv betyder något... Say it in your language.
