This Bond Between Us - A Tarzan Genderbend Audio Drama

Tarzan has, and always will be, my favorite Disney movie of all time, so I have loved almost every second of working on this project for the last six months! Considering my last several videos have been extraordinarily long and had very large casts, it was also wonderful to take a breather and work on something that wasn't quite so intense. So, the question I know several of you probably have: why one-shots and not a full story? Ultimately, it comes down to what kind of dynamics I want to explore between the characters. The very first scene I had in my head to write was the scene where (spoiler alert!) Kerchak dies, and I felt like it would be much stronger, heartbreaking, and realistic if Kerchak remained male. This extended to the scenes with Kala and with Clayton. Because only three characters ended up being genderswapped, it didn't make sense to include scenes that would just remain unchanged. I ended up having just over 400 auditions to sift through, and finding a cast was not simple when there were so many talented actors to choose from! But I have adored working with each and every one of these voice actors throughout the whole process who, as always, have worked so hard and given me such amazing performances that brought this story to life in ways I never could've expected. I own NONE of the music used in this project and I've made sure to give proper credit to EVERYONE. Please do not flag for copyright. SUMMARY: Tarzan, a young woman raised by gorillas in the African jungle, is a strong and powerful fighter and protector who believes she is the only one of her kind. However, one fateful day has her meet three other humans for the very first time, and she almost immediately finds herself especially drawn to the young Englishman, James Porter. Unfortunately, despite the growing attraction between the two of them, James knows that he must return back home to his life in England. After a dreadful mistake that involves Tarzan losing the trust of her family, she decides to leave the only home and mother she has ever known and travel to England with James. But before the journey can commence, they are all betrayed by their guide, Clayton.
